Route 4 Bus: Please continue to use the Birchwood pickup point until notified.

HSPS Route 4: Hughston Rd riders, meet the bus at the Birchwood entrance for this afternoon and tomorrow morning. The rest of the route is back to normal.

Weather cancellations will be determined at noon on game days. It will be posted on harborps.org, harborps.org/athletics, Facebook, and on the Harbor Springs app. Information on the app. We anticipate this being a valuable tool for scheduling communication this spring.


Due to work on the power grid, there will be changes for Route 4 starting tomorrow:
- The bus will be 10-15 minutes early to LaCount road
- Houston Road riders will be picked up at the entry to Birchwood by Houston
- Riders at Stutsmanville and Welsheimer will be picked up by the RAM van at the normal time.

Shay Elementary: Spring pictures originally scheduled for 4/7 will be rescheduled. You will be notified when the reschedule date has been set.

A warming shelter remains open in Harbor Springs at the Holy Childhood Church. They have plenty of food, hot meals, and a place to warm up during the continued power outage. In addition, food and water are also available to take home.

Harbor Springs Public Schools will be closed for the rest of this week due to weather conditions. School is scheduled to resume on Monday, April 7th. The community warming station at the middle school will remain open throughout the power outage.

All Harbor athletic events this week are canceled.

Baywatch Wins Traverse City Competition!
The High School Robotics Team, Baywatch, competed in a First in Michigan district event this weekend at Traverse City Central High School as part of a 40 team field. The qualification matches started on Friday with Baywatch participating in nine of those matches. The day started out a bit rough with a few losses but the team ended the day in 4th place. Saturday morning saw three more matches and three more wins, propelling the team into 1st place and making them the captain of the top alliance in the playoffs. Along with their alliance partners, Traverse City West Titans, St Catherine of Siena Academy Constellations, and Central Lake Trobotics, Baywatch went 7-1-1 to win the competition in an overtime tie breaker. The team has qualfied for state competition on April 3-5 at Saginaw Valley University. We are so proud of this team and all that they have accomplished.


Regional tickets are $9 and must be purchased on gofan.co ahead of time or by credit card at the door. MHSAA policy applies that no passes are honored and senior citizens and students must purchase tickets. The Ram Boosters are covering all high school student tickets!


The Harbor Springs Girls Tennis Team is having a chicken dinner fundraiser on March 11, from 5:30 to 7:30, at The Pier in Harbor Springs. There are some silent auction items as well, if you cannot make the dinner but would like to bid on an item, please contact Laura at 231-838-7773



Harbor Springs Middle School will have a Learning Showcase today, March 5, from 4:30 to 7:30. It's an open-house style event, come and go as you please.
