Harbor Springs Public Schools is fortunate to have a beautiful community pool connected to our High School facility.
The 6 lane competition Community Pool, situated along the Bluff, overlooks the beautiful bay of Lake Michigan and features a hot tub spa as well. Patrons can enjoy a wide variety of scheduling hours dedicated primarily for lap swim, aerobic workout, learn to swim program, and competitive swimming. We do offer some recreational swim hours. Please Note starting September 30th the pool will be closed 8:45am-10:00am every weekday until mid-June.

Weather Related Cancellations
Whenever Harbor Springs Schools are closed, the pool will be closed the entire day. Swim lessons will be rescheduled. This includes the morning and evening lap swims. If you have doubts during the winter months, please check the TV, radio or sign up for school text alerts or pool text alerts before you come in.

Rental Information
HSPS has adopted the philosophy that schools belong to the community and allows members and groups of the community to rental various facilities.
About the Pool Facilities
The Harbor Springs Community Pool is a 6 Lane 25 yard competition length pool.
The water temperature ranges from 83-85 degrees. The Community Pool also has a Dirafirm 1-meter springboard. The diving board is open during all Recreational swim times. Kick boards, fins and pull buoys are available during all lap swims.
The hot tub is located at the southern end of the pool. The water temperature is kept between 99-101 degrees and has a capacity of 12 people.
The Community Pool shares its locker rooms with the high school. Lockers are available, however the pool is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Wibit Inflatables
The Harbor Springs Community Pool has recreational equipment, including floating mats, squeeze toys, balls, dolphin fins, diving fins, basketball hoops and Wibit inflatable obstacles (for special occasions). If you haven’t checked out the community pool lately, NOW IS THE TIME!!!
