American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim

The Harbor Springs Community Pool offers swimming lessons throughout the year. We also offer scholarships to assist with the finances of swim lessons. Please contact the pool for more information!

During the school year, the Community Pool has a fall, winter and spring session. These classes meet once a week for 8 weeks, and are held in the mornings, evenings, and Saturday mornings. Pre-school classes are 30 minutes long and are geared to the 4 - 5 year old child. Classes are limited to 5 students. Your child must be at least 36 inches tall.  The American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Program classes are 45 minutes long and geared towards children 6 and older.

During the summer the pool will offer a 2 week swim lesson session soon after school gets out in June as well as a 1 week swim camp targeted towards those kids who want to improve stroke efficiency and learn junior lifeguard skills!

Parents are strongly encouraged to observe the first and last class!!

Swimming Lessons are available for children as young as 6 months in our Parent-Tot class. Once your child turns 4 years old or has been given permission by one of our American Red Cross water safety instructors, they are able to begin our Pre-school classes.
