Shay Elementary School is recognized for outstanding academic achievement, routinely scoring above State and ISD averages on the MEAP tests. Success is a result of continuing gains in student achievement, the strength of parental involvement and the myriad of excellent programs and activities offered to students.
The educators at Shay are passionate about the learning process and model the excitement for learning and love of knowledge. The Shay staff provides an exceptional experience for students. Students are provided numerous opportunities, including field trips, professional speakers, a swim program, and many enrichment offerings.
