Community Pool > Preschool Swimming Lessons

During the school year classes are held on weekday mornings and evenings and Saturday mornings.  In summer you have your choice of daytime classes where your child comes in Monday through Friday for two weeks or the evening classes where your child comes in once a week for 8 weeks.  Classes are 30 minutes long and are geared to the 4 - 5 year old child. Classes are limited to 8 students. Your child must be at least 36 inches tall.

Puddle Jumpers is the entry-level course for children 4-5 years old. Your child has little or no experience in the water.

Water Bugs is the next level for your child who is 4-5 years old. Your child must be able to go under water, blow bubbles, and be able to float on their stomach with support.

Sea Serpents is the final level for your child who is 4-5 years old. Your child must be able to float on their front and back without support for 5 seconds, jump into the water, and kick on their front and back with support.
