Update Friday, September 5th

This page is dedicated to the pool renovations.  Weekly pictures will be taken on the progress of the renovations to the lights, deck and ventilation system.  The pool will be drained on Wednesday, June 4th, which should take three days, and equipment will be removed in order for demolition to begin on Monday, June 9th. 

Items up for renovation will include:

• New Underwater and Overhead Lights
• New Tiled Deck
• New Ventilation System and Duct Work
• New Doors
• Reconfiguration of the old Weight Room
• Entrance to the Pool

June 16th - 20th progress

June 23rd - 27th progress

  The final section of the old deck is removed         It was discovered that several areas of concrete

                                                                         will have to be replaced before the new tile can

                                                                         be put down.

June 30th - July 4th progress

      The doors and frames are removed                 The deck material is removed from the windows

                                 The new entrance to the weight room and pool             

July 7th - 11th progress

                                                        Removing the bad sections of concrete

                                        All of the rusted conduit needs to be replaced

July 14th - 18th progress

              All of the concrete with the exception of the south end needed to be removed

                  Just about all of the conduit and wiring is removed

July 21st - 25th progress

                                   Work begins on the ventilation system

                                  Work is wrapping up on laying the new conduit

                        The anchors are in place and waiting for the concrete to be poured

July 28th - August 1st

              Prep work on the deck begins for pouring the concrete on Thursday

                   The pump truck pumps in roughly 8 trucks loads of concrete

                         The new ventilation duct work is being installed

     Work is wrapping up on the exterior brick to the weight room and entrance to the pool

August 18th - 22nd

       The ventilation duct work is wrapping up with work on the lighting beginning next week

August 25th - September 5th

                       Work is wrapping up on the new entrance and weight room

 The new duct work is completed and painted              Prep work begins on the deck tile

The new ventilation system is delivered and scheduled to be installed on Monday, September 8th
