The Harbor Springs Performing Arts Center (P.A.C.) provides three services to the community. First and most important, it is a performance venue and gathering space for all the programs that serve the students of our district. Musicals like Grease and Annie,Jr., choir and band concerts, assemblies and talent shows come most readily to mind.
Secondly, professional groups, non-profit organizations, businesses, and individuals can rent the P.A.C. Recent renters have been the Association for Harbor Arts (...aha!) and the Little Traverse Civic Theatre's joint production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in July of 2007 and the Blissfest Celtic Festival in August of 2007.
Thirdly, the P.A.C. Booking Committee has presented two concerts in its Visiting Artists Program: Something Different in the Homemade Jam on June 30, 2006 and Lady Sunshine and the X Band on July 5, 2006.
The Performing Arts Center is a beautiful new 508-seat theatre that will serve this community well into the future. If you are as excited as we are, there are many ways you can help. Please call the Performing Arts Center’s Manager Pat Stedman (526-4864 / 881-5553) for more information.
