Ms. Swanson
First Grade

My name is Mary Ann Swanson. I teach first grade at Blackbird Elementary School.

I prepared for teaching by attending North Central Michigan College in Petoskey then Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant where I received my Bachelors degree. I also earned a ZA Endorsement (Early Childhood Graduate Program) from CMU. I completed my Masters degree in Education through Grand Valley State University. I have been an educator for many years, with many of those being in Harbor Springs.
