First Grade

I am very excited to work with your child this year. First grade is an exciting step in education.  I have taught several grade levels here at HSPS, but the first graders are close to my heart with their joy of learning , eagerness to make new friends , and love for life.

As an undergraduate of Michigan State University, (GO SPARTANS !!) I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. I continued my education at Central Michigan University, earning a ZA endorsement in Early Childhood Education. I also hold a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Valley State University.  I also hold a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Valley State University.

I am enthusiastic about the year ahead and I look forward to meeting you and your child in the upcoming weeks.
